Looking around at different websites and forums, the main issue people have with Windows 10 is that “everything you do is monitored”. Or that is what people think at least.
This question has been raised among a few of my customers as well who are quite concerned about the privacy in Windows 10.
A few days ago, Microsoft added a post to their blog about this issue, explaining what is being collected, how and why it’s being collected.
After reading this I can personally say it’s much easier to calm people that nothing “private” is being collected and showing them the official statement from Microsoft.
1. Windows 10 collects information so the product will work better for you.
2. You are in control with the ability to determine what information is collected.

If you are interested in how to turn off this function, simply open up “Setting” and go to “Privacy”. Under “General” you have the possibility to turn off everything or just a few settings.
