A couple of day’s ago, a friend asked why Microsoft had removed all classic games from Windows 7. It turned out that he was running Windows 7 Professional, one of the editions where the games are not installed by default.
So if you are sitting at work, having a few minutes over and nothing to do, this is how you install the classic games, such as Minesweeper, FreeCell and Hearts.
Start by opening Program and Features”, then click on “Turn Windows features on or off”
In the new window that appears, expand the section called “Games”, and tick the box in front of the games that you want to add. Then click “OK” to start the installation.
When the installation is complete, you will find the games under the start menu, or under the “Games Explorer”
